The Atelier
About YAES
YAES Atelier is a contemporary menswear label built around the belief that denim is architecture. Every jacket, jean, and shirt in the collection begins not on a mood board, but on a drafting table — where weight, weave, and construction are considered with the same rigour a structural engineer applies to a building. The result is clothing that holds its shape, tells a story through its wear, and grows more personal with every wash.
The label is built for men who care about what they put on their bodies — not because of a logo, but because of craft. Our customer understands that a 14-oz selvedge jean is a different object entirely from a fast-fashion substitute. He values provenance, longevity, and the quiet confidence that comes from wearing something made well.
YAES is designed and curated by a small team of textile obsessives based in Europe. We work with heritage mills in Japan and Portugal to source fabrics that meet our exacting standards for weight, hand feel, and durability. Each piece is individually cut and assembled in Europe, with a production run deliberately kept small to ensure quality at every stage.
We are not a seasonal label chasing trends. We release pieces when they are ready — when the fabric is right, the pattern is precise, and the construction is something we are proud to stand behind. If a piece sells out, it is gone. What replaces it will be better.
